Emerging Developments in Climate Resilience

The economic cost of climate risks and related natural catastrophes has risen significantly over the past 10 years. Ongoing climate variability suggests that these costs could escalate in the years ahead.

This panel will explore new responses to these trends, including the analysis of corporate ratings in light of the implications of increased climate variability; innovative investment structures for resilience building that borrow from social impact bonds and emerging international standards in resilience, and their implications.
